NANAIMO, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, DECEMBER 6, 2022 – This week, we had an amazing experience at Port Connect 2022 in Nanaimo, BC. We want to thank David Mailloux, the event organizer, for inviting SEAMOR Marine Ltd. to this marine sector career fair every year. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet passionate upcoming marine talent and other industry employers. We were able to talk to potential candidates for our future hiring needs, as well as connecting with industry partners like the Canadian Coast Guard, Canada Border Service (CBSA), BC Ferries, Western Canada Marine Response Corporation, and WorkBC. We made a meaningful connection with all of them. A huge shoutout to the Port of Nanaimo and WorkBC Centre for their hard work to create this opportunity to network with key people in the marine sector.

In the event, we met young, talented attendees who were very curious to find out about the qualifications required to work for SEAMOR Marine. A teenager – who was amazed by the SEAMOR ROV – was looking for an advice for future opportunities, having just decided to attend college. He was eager to work for a company like SEAMOR and asked what discipline would lead him to work in our industry. To help him solidify his career path interests, we gave him an open invitation to visit SEAMOR to see what we do for himself. He was almost soaring with excitement about the opportunity. It was priceless.

SEAMOR is always looking for candidates that are eager to grow with our company. We look for someone who not only has the technical skills, but also loves tackling challenges and learning new things. Reach out if you are interested in starting a conversation with us: resume@seamor.com
