The Port was in need of ROV repairs, the testing of the fixed ROV took place at their facilities alongside our own ROV.
Nanaimo Port Authority listed many benefits to working with ROVs in marine industries in one of their recent posts. Check it out here. They advocate for this tech because it can improve safety for the professionals in the field. ROVs can fly in conditions that are dangerous to humans and they can stay underwater for a lot longer. This helps everyone do a better job.
