Nanaimo Science is an incredible organization that offers kids and adolescents a fun, hands-on science education. This year, SEAMOR Marine donated a new Micro:Bit 2.0 computer to the cause, helping Nanaimo Science engage young minds by teaching them to code.
Our Lead Engineer, Chris Parker, has been attending Nanaimo Science’s Summer camps since 2017, introducing curious kids to the thrills of engineering. One year, he brought a SEAMOR ROV along with him, giving the campers a chance to operate our world-class technology first hand. It was a pleasure to see the kids capture some pretty fantastic footage and a few lasting memories along the way.
At SEAMOR Marine, we are as passionate about the youth in our community as we are about technology and innovation — so when the two align, it’s magic!
