Like countless Canadian’s, we at SEAMOR Marine know all too well the devastating effects of cancer. With many of our team’s close friends and family personally affected, we are fiercely passionate about supporting the Canadian Cancer Society and advocating cancer prevention.
Born to an ailing father, Inja Ma has experienced firsthand the worry and grief that shadows chronic illness. A child profoundly concerned for her father’s wellbeing, Inja spent many nights sleeping next to her father, carefully monitoring his laboured breaths. Though medical services were sparsely available in their small Korean village, there was strong familial support in Inja’s home. Inja’s mother nursed her ill husband until his final days while providing emotional stability to her four daughters in a time of uncertainty. Inspired by her mother’s unwavering care and fortitude, Inja now strives to offer those afflicted with cancer the support they need by proudly donating to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The Canadian Cancer Society has made it their mission to unite, inspire and save lives. By conducting groundbreaking research and providing critical public education, the Canadian Cancer Society continues to make a massive impact on our country’s health and wellbeing. Their broad scope of support services addresses both quality of life and treatment, creating a tangible difference in the lives of those affected most.
Since 2016, SEAMOR Marine has made annual donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and participates in local cancer fundraising events, most recently the Tour de Rock. Our hearts go out to those affected by cancer, and we are proud to help offer the support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
